Eva & Sergei
are Getting Married
London was never merely a backdrop to our lives. It is where we first found each other, where we built our home, and where little Sasha came into the world. To celebrate our union anywhere else would be, in some small but meaningful way, to tell the story wrong. So we have chosen this corner of the city - familiar and beloved - and ask that you come and share it with us.

A little about where we’re celebrating
Stoke Newington is one of London's oldest and most characterful neighbourhoods, first recorded in the Domesday Book of 1086. For centuries it was a refuge for freethinkers and dissenters, home at various points to Daniel Defoe, Mary Wollstonecraft, and Edgar Allan Poe.
Tucked into a quiet part of north London, it has the unhurried rhythm of a village that didn’t quite get swallowed by the big city around it.
It is also, simply, a place we love. We have spent a great deal of time here over the years, on long afternoons, after one too many drinks, and on perfectly ordinary days. It felt right, then, to bring the people we treasure most to a place that has meant so much to us, and to celebrate here.
Accommodation
If you require accommodation, London has no shortage of hotels, guesthouses, and Airbnbs to suit all budgets, locations and tastes
If you'd like to stay close to the wedding venue, here are some options within easy reach by foot and public transport of the wedding venues:
Hilton London Angel Islington
A 4-star hotel in the heart of Islington, right next to the Business Design Centre on Upper Street. Angel tube is a short walk away, and Highbury & Islington in easy reach.
Premier Inn London Angel Islington
Good value, tucked just off Upper Street in Islington. Angel tube is nearby.
Premier Inn London Hackney (Dalston)
Good value, on Dalston Lane in the middle of Dalston's bars and restaurants. Dalston Junction and Dalston Kingsland Overground stations are nearby.
Travelodge Manor House
A budget-friendly option, and very conveniently located directly next to Manor House tube station (Piccadilly line).
Staycity Aparthotels Dalston
Aparthotel-style rooms with kitchenettes on Kingsland High Street, Dalston. A good choice if you want a bit more space.
Best Western London Highbury
A no-fuss hotel on Seven Sisters Road opposite Finsbury Park, a short walk from Manor House tube station.
We recommend booking early.
an evening for the grown-ups
(a note on little ones)
We have chosen to keep our celebration adults-only, so that everyone (including the parents among you) can relax and enjoy the evening freely. The one exception, we confess, is little Sasha, who has yet to learn how to stay home, and who we very much want by our side as we celebrate with family.
For the parents, we hope you'll understand, and take full advantage of the occasion to remind yourselves what a night out without the little ones feels like.
Dress code
Smart and elegant. Suits, dresses, and your best occasion wear. As the afternoon moves between indoor and outdoor spaces, comfortable shoes are quietly encouraged and dancing shoes are a must!
Wedding Contribution
Having built a home together over the last few years, we are fortunate to already have most of the things we need, so we haven't put together a traditional wedding list.
We do, however, have quite a lot ahead of us. We're preparing to move to a new home, would love to take a proper honeymoon, and have plenty of plans for making the new place our own and for future adventures together as a family.
So, if you would like to give us a wedding present, we would be incredibly grateful for a contribution towards this next chapter of our lives.
It will go towards:
Our new home
Our upcoming move and everything that comes with settling into somewhere new.
Making it ours
Furniture, improvements and the things that will gradually turn the new place into our family home.
Honeymoon & travel
A proper trip together after what will have been an eventful year.
Family adventures
Future trips, weekends away and experiences with Sasha as he grows up.
